Shanthi... Shanthi... Shanthi

Its in my memory, just as yesterday - 5 years have passed to this day September the 11th, the new doctrine of terrorism, live in front of my eyes.

The frantic call from my friend ( who thought America was being bombed ), made me run to the TV to tune in, just to see the 2nd tower struck _live_.

My spine stiffens even today, to recall - seeing those images of tiny objects falling from the tower and to realize that it was "human beings" trying to escape the inevitability forced upon them. Few have said, since then that the _world has changed_ but I wonder how?

Two wars have been fought since then, one unjust and for _personal vendetta_ and the other yielding nothing. New laws since then, drive us all insane.

Those in power, continue to fill up the space in news media and elsewhere and keep twisting and turning their own statements. They flat out lie to our faces and justify almost everything they did.

The last 3 years I keep asking myself one question - where do they have their soul ? May be I'm looking for an answer for a wrong question.

But to all those who perished, may your soul rest in piece, shanthi... shanthi...shanthi
